These storms will be far more localized than the rain we have already seen, and confidence in precise timing is low. Extensive street flooding and flooding of creeks and rivers are possible. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Rounds of showers and storms will continue through Wednesday night. The heaviest rainfall will focus over the eastern plains where rainfall rates up to 2 inches per hour may occur. Rain will generally be lighter further west, but briefly heavy rates cannot be ruled out as far west as the central mountain chain.
